4 Squeeze each release latch on both injector/ejector handles to remove the module from the Aspen
chassis slot as shown in
Figure 75 .

CAUTION
To prevent ESD damage, hold the module by the metal panel edges only. Never touch the components on the
PCB or pins on any of the connectors.
5 Slide and remove the module from the slot.
6 Place the ESD bag over the module to protect it from potential ESD damage. This will also prevent
dust from collecting on the Aspen module’s connectors.
NOTE
Leave the ESD-preventive wrist strap permanently connected to the chassis so that it is always available when you
need to touch ESD-sensitive components.
