Squeeze each release latch on both injector/ejector handles to remove the module from the Aspen
chassis slot as shown in
Figure 75
.

CAUTION
To prevent ESD damage, hold the module by the metal panel edges only. Never touch the components on the
PCB or pins on any of the connectors.

Slide and remove the module from the slot.

Place the ESD bag over the module to protect it from potential ESD damage. This will also prevent
dust from collecting on the Aspen module’s connectors.
NOTE
Leave the ESD-preventive wrist strap permanently connected to the chassis so that it is always available when you
need to touch ESD-sensitive components.
