15. To protect undercarriage of the machine when traveling on
rough ground or on rocks, set the idler (1, Figure 60) facing
in travel direction. The idler and track spring are spring
cushioned to absorb direct impacts.
16. Do not travel at high-speed over rough ground or rocks.
This can result in structural and mechanical failures and
can reduce the service life of the machine. See Figure 61.
17. Do not travel continuously for a long time. The lubricating
oil temperatures inside the track rollers will rise, and this
will cause damage to the oil seal or leakage of oil. If
traveling continuously for a long time, it is recommended to
stop the machine for 15 minutes every 2 hours to allow the
lubricating oil inside the track rollers to cool down. See
Figure 62.
