spanning-tree hello-time
Global Configuration mode command configures the spanning
tree bridge hello time, which is how often the device broadcasts Spanning Tree BPDUs to other
devices.To return to the default configuration, use the
no
form of this command.
Syntax

— Time in seconds. (Range: 1 - 10)
Default Configuration
The default hello time for IEEE Spanning Tree Protocol (STP) is 2 seconds.

When configuring the hello time, the following relationship should be kept:

Max-Age >= 2*(Hello-Time + 1)
