Sensor button on the screen, and follow the on-screen instructions.

Loss of Gas Alarm
1.
Set the ventilator to standard test settings.
2.
Lower the air gas supply pressure to 20 psig.
3.
Verify that there is no Loss of Gas alarm.
4.
Lower the air gas supply pressure to 8 psig.
5.
Verify that the audible alarm sounds, the red LED on the top of the ventilator flashes, and the message
“Air Supply Loss” is displayed.
6.
Set the air gas supply pressure to 50 psig.
7.
Clear the alarm.
8.
Repeat steps 1-7 for the oxygen gas source.
9.
Shut off both gas supplies.
10.
Verify that the audible alarm sounds, the red LED on the top of the ventilator flashes, and the message
“Both Air/O
2
Supply Loss” is displayed.
11.
Turn on both gas supplies.
12.
Clear the alarm.

Test
1.
Set FiO
2
to 0.21.
2.
Verify that the value of FiO
2
displayed on the screen, the FiO
2
reading measured by the oxygen analyzer,
and the FiO
2
setting are within ±3% of each other. Document the readings on the record sheet.
3.
Repeat steps 1 and 2 with F
i
O
2
settings of 0.40, 0.60, and 0.80 (use the touch-turn-accept method to
adjust settings).
4.
Set F
i
O
2
to 0.21.

Note:
Allow sufficient time for the calibration analyzer to stabilize at each setting before recording the calibration
analyzer reading.
