k) The wired alarm lines
The ‘FAZ-3000-Z’ alarm base station has a total of five inputs that are available for connecting
wired sensors and alarm lines:
• 4 wired alarm lines
• 1 wired sabotage line

The wired alarm lines are immediately active and do not need to be registered.
The following settings are possible:
• Name
- Enter a name for each alarm line
• Attributes
- Allocation to a closure group (set to ‘yes’ or ‘no’)
- Setting as an internal or external sensor

1. Enter or modify the names of the wired alarm lines
The names of the wired alarm lines can be entered or modified retrospectively at any time as in
the case of the wireless sensors’ names.
To enter the name, proceed as follows:
• You must be on the main level. The LCD should appear as on the right,
for example, with the time and the date.
• Briefly press the ‘ Menü a/A ’ button on the control unit of the ‘FAZ 3000-
Z’ alarm base station.
• Use the ‘ ’ and ‘ ’ buttons to select the ‘

• Confirm your selection by briefly pressing the ‘ OK ’ button.
• Using the ‘ ’ and ‘ ’ buttons, select the ‘

The first sensor that was registered with the alarm base station is
