2. Set or modify the attributes of the wired alarm lines
As in the case of the wireless sensors, you can also set the sensor attributes ‘internal sensor
yes/no’ and ‘closure group yes/no’ for the wired alarm lines (or you can check the settings).
To set (or check) the attributes, proceed as follows:
• You must be on the main level. The LCD should appear as on the right,
for example, with the time and the date.
• Briefly press the ‘ Menü a/A ’ button on the control unit of the ‘FAZ 3000-
Z’ alarm base station.
• Use the ‘ ’ and ‘ ’ buttons to select the ‘

• Confirm your selection by briefly pressing the ‘ OK ’ button.
• Use the ‘ ’ and ‘ ’ buttons to select the ‘

• Confirm your selection by briefly pressing the ‘ OK ’ button.
The first sensor that was registered with the alarm base station is
displayed.
• Press the ‘ ’ button until ‘

’ is displayed. If the alarm line has
already been assigned a name, this will be displayed on the lower display
line (‘

You are now in the list of all the wired alarm lines (‘line 1’ to ‘line 4’ and
‘sabotage’).
• Use the ‘ ’ and ‘ ’ buttons to select the alarm line whose attributes you
wish to modify or check (for example, ‘

’ in the figure on the
right).

No attributes can be modified/displayed for the sabotage line
(here, there is no allocation to ‘internal/external sensor’ or
‘closure group’).
• Briefly press the ‘ OK ’ button. Afterwards, you can change the attributes.
You can use the ‘ ’ button to set the sensor as an internal sensor
