2. Delete sensors
Sensors that are no longer available (for example, sensors that are not required) must be deleted.
Otherwise the alarm base station considers the lack of sensor confirmation as a trouble

If you accidentally remove the sensor’s batteries without previously setting the base
station to the ‘service/battery change’ mode, the sensor must also be deleted first and
then re-registered.
Carry out the following steps to delete a sensor:
• You must be on the main level. The LCD should appear as on the right,
for example, with the time and the date.
• Briefly press the ‘

’ button on the operating unit of the ‘FAZ
3000-Z’ alarm base station.
• Use the ‘ ’ and ‘ ’ buttons to select the ‘

The first sensor that was registered with the alarm base station is
displayed.
• Select the sensor that you wish to delete using the ‘ ’ and ‘ ’ buttons
or the device using the ‘ ’ button (in the example on the right this is the
door/window detector in the bedroom on window 1, which was reg-
istered as the fourth sensor).
• Press the ‘
OK
’ button briefly. The deletion of the sensor must be re-
confirmed. See the figure on the right.

you to the normal display mode (main level).
