2. Scanning troubles & open contacts that prevent ‘internally armed’ arming
You can use this scanning option to determine what it was that prevented the ‘internally armed’
arming.
As you can see in section 13, page 58, it should be possible to arm the system to ‘internally
armed’ the first time you press the ‘
intern scharf
’ (internal arm) button on the remote
control or the alarm base station.
If you find that you need to press the button a second time, you can now determine what the cause
is.
• You are in the main menu and the LCD appears as shown on the right,
for example.
• Briefly press the ‘
Menü a/A
’ button. The ‘

(window in the living room is open).

’ (internal arm prevention) appears briefly on the LCD.
• Using the ‘ ’ and ‘ ’ buttons, the sensors, which prevent internal arm-
ing, can be scanned individually and in succession.
In the example figure on the right the door/window detector in the living
room is the cause.
• You can use the ‘ ’ button to display the troubles for the selected sensor.
As you can see in the example on the right, the magnet contact is open
(the window is probably open, however, the magnet that was stuck
on may also have fallen off?).
• If necessary, remove the trouble (for example, close the window, stick
the magnet contact on again and so on).
• Return to the alarm base station and keep pressing the ‘
C
’ button until
you return to the alarm base station’s main menu.
If ‘

Otherwise, check again whether any further troubles exist, and if so,
which troubles are present (for instance, another window may be open
and so on).
