2. Silent alarm on/off
In the case of a silent alarm, the ‘FAZ 3000-Z’ alarm base station transmits the alarm via the alarm
dialler and/or the PC interface without the intruder noticing the alarm.
If transmission of the alarm is not possible, the internal and external sirens are activated after-
wards in line with how they have been set.
Please note:
You can find the ‘silent alarm on/off’ setting in the alarm dialler’s settings
and
in the
PC interface’s settings.
Here, exactly the same setting applies!
This means: If you switch the alarm dialler’s silent alarm on, it is also au-
tomatically activated on the PC interface (also see page 100).
To set the ‘silent alarm’ function, proceed as follows:
• You must be on the main level. The LCD should appear as on the right,
for example, with the time and the date.
• Briefly press the ‘
