Drive Arrays

Drive arrays on the SMART-2DH Controller have several important
attributes:

■

A single array cannot span more than one SMART-2DH Controller.

■

A single SMART-2DH Controller can control multiple arrays.

■

Arrays must have at least one and may have up to 14 physical drives.

■

Arrays consist of at least one and may have up to 32 logical drives
(maximum 32 logical drives per controller).

■

For maximum space efficiency, all drives in a single array should be
the same capacity.
