The Verbose mode command line switch is a standard command line
switch which causes the driver to print information to the screen when
it loads. The driver will identify itself along with the current revision.
Then information concerning the adapters and the drives attached to
them will be provided. Adapter information includes IRQ, slot number,
and controller order number. Drive information includes physical and
logical drive count, and the geometry information for each
logical drive.
Example:
BASEDEV=CPQARRAY.ADD /V
3. /A:[adapter index] [unit parameters]
This is a standard command line switch which will cause the driver to
modify its behavior towards adapters.
[adapter index] The adapter index is a number used to identify a
controller. The index is based on ‘0’ for the lowest controller order
number associated with the adapter controlled by this ADD. The index
is incremented by one for each controller in the system as you move up
the controller configuration order.
Example: A system that has three adapters controlled by the
CPQARRAY.ADD, with the lowest configured adapter being the
secondary controller.
