Undo the two screws attaching the sensor support (

), then 

remove the sensor and its support.

Loosen the motor-side coupling set screw (

).

8.

Undo the four attachment screws of the motor (

) and remove 

the motor.

Notes: While removing the motor attachment screws, hold the motor 

and take care it does not fall over due to its weight.

Check that the detector-wheel air gap is correct (1 mm), otherwise 
readjust position of the detector or of the encoder wheel (see 

Oper-

ation 6-3

).
