8. Place the equipped vessel on a precision scale. Tare the scale
so that it displays zero.
9. Place the nozzle in the vessel ( D ).
When the water will flow from the nozzle, take care to correctly
hold the assembly in order to avoid wrong measurements.
Great care shall be taken that the collecting system does
not show any leakage.
10. Enter in the field under the piston icon 10ml ( E ).
11. Hold the nozzle and the vessel equipped, then click on ON.
The pump is loaded with water, it will redirect it to the nozzle.
Note: The operation is not terminated as long as the green disc
does not display ON.
The nozzle ejects now the 10ml of water, hold the assembly.
Once operation completed, ON is displayed in the two discs.
Drain properly the nozzle into the vessel so that no drop is lost.
12. Place the vessel containing the 10ml of water on the scale.
The result should be close to 10g because 10g = 10ml.
13. Repeat twice the operation and write the results in the table
( F ). Do not forget each time to tare the scale.
Calculate the average of the three samples (sum of the
measurements/number of measurements)
