The other end of the steering lock system is located at the steering lever assembly on the
hydrostatic pump. This consists of a spring loaded locking pin mounted to a bracket on the
upper frame cross brace assembly. When the arm rest is in the upper position, the pin protrudes
through a lock slide plate, preventing the steering lever from moving in either direction.
6. The locking slide plate is mounted to the steering lever at the hydrostatic pump by 2
bolts. To remove the plate, unfasten both bolts.

Assembling the Steering Lock Cable to the Bracket
Assemble the cable to the bracket at the pump referring to

Adjusting the Steering Lock Pin
To disconnect or adjust the spring pin end of the cable, remove or loosen the 2 fasteners
securing the bracket to the welded tab on the upper cross brace assembly. Slide the bracket
until approximately 1/8” protrudes through the locking slide plate when the armrest is in
the upright position.
