Removing and Installing the Chain Tensioners (From Serial # 12280)
1. Perform the servicing procedure,
Drive Chain Removal
on page WA-7.
2. On the inside of the frame, remove the
(4) 112-133 bolts and (4) 108-67 lock
-
washers that are securing the 806-126
flange and tensioner assembly in place.

Installing the Chain Tensioners
Assemble the chain tensioners as follows:
1. Slide the 606-40 slider block and 108-
72 washer onto the longer end of the
806-211 pivot arm assembly. Secure
with a 100-105 cotter pin.

2. Assemble another slider block assembly in the same way. On the other end of the first
assembly put a 112-158 shoulder bolt and 108-34 washer through the hole and the
128-16 torsion spring with the second slider block assembly
on the short shaft.

3. Add a 108-15 washer and the 806-126 flange and secure with a 117-60 nut.

(Blue Loctite all threads.).
4. For the second 2 and rear 2 assemblies, a 806-215 spacer, 108-67 lockwasher and a
112-93 bolt are used.
