3. Install the upper
rad hose and extension tube to the top of the thermostat.

4. Mount the PTO to the flywheel. Apply blue LOCTITE 242 to the threads of each of
the 6 fasteners and torque to specifications.

5. Reattach the clutch guard with the 3 mounting bolts and blue LOCTITE 242. Tight

en securely.

6. Install the air filter housing using 2 bolts and 2 locknuts. Orient the filter housing as
in

Tighten the filter bracket to secure it in this position.

The PTO shaft on the 26 H.P diesel powered engine has been machined to provide a
different offset from the ones that are installed to the gas and turbo units. If a new
PTO shaft is required, when ordering, be sure to specify which engine you have.
48. Remove the
lower
rad hose and extender tube that is connected to the outlet side of
the cooling system.

49. Remove the temperature gauge sensor located just below the thermostat.

1. Apply teflon pipe sealant to the threads
of the temperature gauge sensor and
install below the thermostat.

Apply a little white grease to the inside diameter of both ends of the rad hose. This will
ease the assembly of the hose to the outlet side of the cooling system. It will also help when
assembling the extension tube to the other end.
