11. Place the assembly into an aluminum jawed vice and install the inner seal (sprocket
side).

Seat properly to the shoulder.
12. Install a new gasket to the outer sealing flange of the housing assembly and insert the
entire unit back through the vehicle frame.

As the assembly is inserted
through the lower body, slip the inner flange over the housing, and the drive sprocket
on to the splined end. The sprocket will not fit on to the axle assembly once it has been

When installing the axle into the frame,
ensure that the small vent hole on the
inner side of the axle assembly is facing

outer side of the lower body will be at the
