Removing/Installing the Left & Right Transmission Cover

1.  These parts cover the steering lever assembly which is attached to the hydrostatic pump 

behind the drivers compartment.  Remove both the left and right side transmission cov

-

ers by removing the fasteners that secure them to the tool box and upper frame cross 

brace assembly.

1.  Locate and remove the hardware fastening the windshield wiper blade to the vehicle. 

Remove the blade.

2.  Locate the seam at the bottom of the windshield, near the middle of the CENTAUR 

logo. With a slot screwdriver, or preferably a windshield installation tool, insert the 

tool into the seam to open it up around the entire perimeter of the windshield.

If you choose to use a slot screw driver, you should modify it by rounding the edges to 

ensure that the windshield seal will not be damaged in any way.  Using an unmodified 

screwdriver could pierce or puncture a hole in the rubber seal resulting in a windshield 

leak.

3.  Once the windshield seals lip has been opened up around the entire perimeter of the 

glass, apply pressure from behind at the top corners of the glass and push outwards.  

Be careful not to push to hard and be sure to keep supporting the windshield from the 

outside to prevent it from falling to the floor.

4.  After the two top corners of glass have been freed from the frame, pull the glass at 

both ends towards the outside of the vehicle.

5.  Pull the rest of the windshield stripping from the frame.
