6. Mount the 3 micro switches to the shift

box assembly using the specified hard

ware. Two are mounted to the right and

1 is mounted to the left.

Connect the

green jumper cable between the two sides

to link the switches for the neutral safety

feature

Connecting the Shift Cables to the Shifter

Box

When connecting the 2 shift cables to the shift box, be sure to connect the Reverse shift

cable and the High and Low shift cable to the correct side of the shift box assembly. Refer

to the

IMPORTANT

note on page TR-66 of this manual for further details.

You will need to peel back the protective covering from the threaded end of the cable to al

low the mounting nuts to be threaded on and off.

7. Insert the cable to the shifter box and

secure with the nut.

Generally when securing the cable to the

box, an even amount of threads to the inside

and outside of the box is a good initial start-

ing point. See photo TR-378 on page TR-70.

There may be some minor adjustments later.
