2 . Mechanism of the Fiber Laser
The Fiber Laser for welding consists of a power supply, cooler, oscillator, optical fiber,
output unit, etc. Laser light can be transferred to a place remote from the main unit
by optical fiber, so that only the optical fiber and output unit can be mounted in the
manufacturing line for welding.
Single Delivery
This is a sharing method of outputting a laser beam to a single optical fiber from the
oscillator.
Timesharing
This is a sharing method of outputting a laser beam from the selected optical fiber by
operating the beamsplitter built in the laser equipment. Up to 2 optical fibers can be
connected with an oscillator for this laser equipment. This is called “2-timesharing.”
