3 . Maintenance of the Chiller
Draining the Cooling Water
When the laser welder is not used over two weeks or must be moved, drain the
cooling water.
If water in pipes of the equipment or the optical fiber is frozen, the pipe is broken and
results in fault of the equipment.
Operating Procedure
(1) Remove pipes of the optical fiber IN and OUT.
(2) Remove pipes of the main unit and the chiller.
(3) Apply air at approx. 0.25 MPa into pipes to expel the remaining water in pipes.
Open the drain valve .
