Using the underside of your finger, gently 

press-and-release

 (do not “HOLD”) the green-

colored (rubber membrane) Power On/Off Switch at the back/left corner of the scan engine, to 
initiate the start of a power OFF sequence.   

 

 

NOTE

:   

The system will NOT immediately power down, as the Scan Engine will perform a properly 
ordered shutdown sequence (taking approximately 10 seconds).

A message should appear on the display within a few seconds, indicating the start of the 
normal shutdown sequence

.
