Procedure
1. Remove the front outfeed conveyor (see Section 3.8.1).

2. Prise off the e-clip and remove the nylon drive gear from the rear of the
conveyor assembly. Remove the cross pin and nylon washers from behind
the drive gear.
3. Prise off the e-clip from the other end of the drive shaft. Remove the nylon
washer.
4. Carefully ease the bearings out of the side plates and off the shaft. (Note
that there is a small amount of retaining compound applied between the
shaft and the inner bearing journal).
5. Remove the drive shaft assembly from the conveyor assembly.
6. Remove both idler shafts: Prise off the e-clips and remove the nylon wash-
ers from the shaft. Remove the bearings and withdraw the shaft from the
conveyor assembly.
7. Replace the conveyor belts and reassemble the conveyor assembly in the
reverse order of the disassembly procedure. Apply a small amount of a
weak retaining compound between the drive shaft spigots and the inner
bearing journals.
The X-Jogger stacks and jogs sets either straight or with a 20° offset. The jog-
ging power is variable. It fits onto mounting pegs on the front of the DigiVAC.
Power to the X-Jogger is taken from the DigiVAC and fused at DigiVAC Base
Power PCB (900-192). The unit is controlled from the X-Jogger Control PCB,
a 2A, glass, anti-surge, T fuse protects the transformer.
Requirements: To use the X-Jogger, the front outfeed conveyor must be
installed. This is supplied with the X-Jogger under part no. 032-321
.
