Feeder Modules
1. Disconnect power supply to the machine.
2. Remove the R/H and L/H feeder side covers at the appropriate level to
allow access to the damaged feeder.
3. Open the rear door and remove the rear conveyor.
4. Remove the deflector plate at the appropriate level.
5. Remove the feeder rear drive shaft by pushing it to the left against the
spring pressure and lifting the R/H end clear.
6. On the right R/H side of the machine each feeder has a vacuum valve and
supply tube. Disconnect the valve from the PCB and then remove the valve
by rotating it downwards. Carefully pull the vacuum supply tube out
through the machine side frame.

7. On the L/H side of the machine, disconnect the separator adjustment link-
age from the end of the separator adjustment shaft: raising and lowering
the separator lever will help identify the correct linkage. The linkage is
retained by an E clip onto the 8mm actuation shaft. Remove the E clip and
then carefully pull the linkage away from the shaft.

8. Use long nosed pliers to remove the small pin which is running through the
shaft.
9. The feeder head assembly is mounted onto the paper tray with four M3
countersunk screws. Two of these screws can be accessed from the front
of the machine by reaching into the bin and the other two from the back of
the machine. Using a 1.5mm ball ended Allen key, undo and remove all
four screws.
10. From the front of the machine, reach under the paper tray with both hands
and gently slide the feeder head assembly to the right. This will disconnect
the clutch drive coupling and pull the separator actuation shaft through the
side frame. Lift the feeder head clear of the bin.
