3.6.5 Replacing or Cleaning the Main Air Filter
The main air filter is situated inside the base of the DigiVAC behind the filter
access panel. It is important that the main air filter is checked, cleaned or
replaced at regular intervals. The frequency will depend upon the usage of the
machine and the condition of it’s working environment. This is routine main-
tenance which should also be done by the operator.
Procedure
1. Disconnect the DigiVAC from the mains power supply.
2. Loosen the retaining screws and remove the air filter access panel from the
rear of the DigiVAC base module.

3. Reach in through the filter access opening, and remove the air filter ele-
ment from it’s housing.
4. Refit the new or cleaned air filter element, ensuring that the blue coloured
side is outwards. Ensure that the filter element is securely held in place by
pushing it beneath the retaining bracket on the L/H side of the housing.
5. Replace the air filter access panel.
3.6.6 Adjusting the Air Blow Pressure
The air blow pressure is factory set at 60mBar. Note:
• For Serial Nos. up to DIG/0000098: if required, the air blow pressure
can be checked using a blow gauge and adjusted via a potentiometer on
the Air/Blow Control PCB (see Section 4.2.7).
• For Serial Nos. DIG/0000099 onwards (excluding DIG/0000118, 119,
121 and 125): no adjustment is necessary.

370-230 Air Filter Element 3mm Allen Key
Note: If a new filter element is not available, the existing element can be cleaned.
Shake it (preferably outside) to remove the dust, wash in soapy water, rinse thor-
oughly and allow to dry. Do NOT refit the filter while it is still wet.
