• 

Installing the Front Outfeed Conveyor

9. Connect the 20-way CPU cable to the CPU box.
10. Connect the 50-way touch-screen cable to the L/H side of the CPU box.

Route the cable as shown (see Figure 7:7), 

through

 the hole in the top of

the base module and 

behind

 the module link plate. Secure the cable loosely

to the side frame using the cable ties provided. 

11. Attach the earth spade at the top of the second bin module (see Figure 7:8).

12. Offer up the side panel with the GUI screen already fixed, and locate the

two tags at the bottom of the panel.

13. Connect the earth wire and the 50-way cable.
14. Push the panel back against the machine, taking care not to trap any cables.

Secure in place using the screws and washers which held the old panel in
place.

15. Tighten the cable ties securing the 50-way cable.
16. Fit the shelf using 3 screws and washers.
17. Refit the remaining side covers.
18. Fit the ‘+’ label to the existing logo on the machine to mark it as a Digi-

VAC+ (see Figure 7:9). Degrease the side panel first to ensure that it
adheres.

19. Connect the to the mains power supply.
20. Adjust the screen calibration if necessary, and set the GUI panel to the

required language. 
Note: The DigiVAC GUI display has a blue background.

21. Check that the mimic diagram is correct for the machine configuration.
22. Run the machine and check that it operates correctly.

The front outfeed conveyor must be fitted if the DigiVAC is to be used with a
jogger positioned at the front of the machine. It can be specified and pre-
installed at the factory.
