Service Procedures

Base Module
Procedure
1. Disconnect the DigiVAC from the mains power supply.
2. Remove the L/H side cover from the base module.
3. Check the belt tension: There should be minimal slack, push the belt with
one finger, it should deflect by no more than 10mm.
4. Slacken the drive motor retaining nuts (see Figure 3:29 on page 43).
5. Using a suitable screwdriver as a lever, raise the motor assembly in it’s
adjustment slots and remove the drive belt from the pulley.
6. Tighten two diagonally opposed retaining nuts and check the tension.
Readjust if necessary.
7. Tighten the remaining retaining nuts, replace all covers and test.
3.6.11 Converting the DigiVAC from 50Hz to 60hz Supply Frequency
This procedure only applies to DigiVAC Base Modules prior to Serial No.
S0000150.
1. Disconnect the DigiVAC from the mains power supply.
2. Remove the L/H side panel from the base.
3. Remove the drive pulley fixing screw and washers.

4. Loosen the drive motor fixing nuts.
