Test Mode. The DigiVAC has a test mode in which the machine will not stop
on miss or double feed errors. Feed errors are indicated by an audible ‘beep’.

3.4.2 Operation
Operating instructions are included in the relevant operating manual. They are
not repeated here in this Service Manual.
Chapter 6 explains how to perform software upgrades.
3.4.3 Care of the GUI Screen
The GUI screen is a hard-wearing item, but it should not be mistreated. The
following points should be followed, to ensure reliable operation.
3.4.4 Operating the GUI Screen
In normal use, the GUI touch-screen can be operated by finger-tip. It is not
necessary to touch the screen with any other implement. However, the screen
can be operated with any blunt instrument, such as a palm top ‘wand’ or the
blunt end of a pen. Do not use excessive force: a light touch is all that is
needed.
Caution
Operating the GUI with a sharp object will scratch the screen.
3.4.5 Cleaning the GUI Screen
The GUI Screen should only be cleaned with a clean, dry cloth.
Caution
Abrasive materials and chemicals should never be used to clean the screen.
