Name [ID]
Description
Def.
Max. cons.
current [5]
Maximum consumed current of the inverter.
30.00 A
0.01 A ÷
1000.00 A
During the power flow in the direction from the grid to the inverter, current is limited to this value.
If current is at this limit, voltage regulator is saturated and DC bus voltage drops below the
reference value. If power continues to grow, fault E5-DC undervoltage (page 32) can be
generated. For applications in PV power plants, this value is set very low, to avoid power flow
from the grid during periods of shutdown and low intensity of solar radiation.
Max. prod.
current
[510]
Max. generated current of the inverter.
30.00 A
0.01 A ÷
1000.00 A
The inverter current is limited to this value for produced power. It also serves to limit the
produced power. When limited, voltage controller is also saturated and DC voltage bus is
different from itsreference value. If the power rise continues, fault E4-DC overvoltage (page 32)
may be generated.
7.4.1 POWER RESTRICTION
Group of parameters number [780]
Inverter power restriction conditions setting. Power restriction is used for keeping the drive in operation
during extreme load or thermal conditions.

Name [ID]
Description
Def.
Power
restriction (PR)
[700]
Selecting the operating mode of the inverter power
restriction (PR). PR starts decreasing the current
restriction and prevents the occurrence of errors that could
stop the drive operation.
From overload | From the
cooler temperature | From
Pmax param. | From CB
temperature
■ From overload
After exceeding the inverter overload Thermal integral INV [440] (page 26) beyond the
90% value, power will be restricted.
■ From the cooler
temperature
After exceeding the temperature P Cooler temperature [74] (page 26) beyond the value
set by the parameter P Cooler temperature warning [699] (page 78), power will be
restricted.
□ From external
temperature
After exceeding the temperature ETP Temperature [799] (page 24) evaluated from an
external temperature sensor, power will be restricted.
■ From Pmax
param.
Power is restricted to the value of Max. gen. power [808] (page 45) and Max. consum.
power [1191] (page 45).
■
From
CB
temperature
After exceeding the temperature CB temperature [75] (page 26) over the value of CB
temperature warning [870] (page 78), power will be restricted.
□ From the power
restriction signal
Inverter power restriction after exceeding the parameter value PR Signal [1047] (page 45)
beyond the value PR signal limit [1034] (page 45).
PR Signal [1047]
Selection of the signal, according to which the power will
be restricted by an active selection of the power restriction

[75] CB temperature
Signal
PR signal limit
[1034]
Signal limit PR Signal [1047] (page 45), beyond which the
converter restricts the power.
55.0 °C
0.0 °C ÷ 200.0 °C
Max. gen. power
[808]
Value of max. genrating power for power restriction
feature ( Power restriction (PR) [700] (page 45)).
15000 W
0 ÷ Nom. power
[291]
Generated power will be limited to this value, if the choice "From Pmax param." is
selected. In the PF CORRECTOR mode, this parameter represents the limit of reactive
power [VAr].
Max.
consum.
power [1191]
Value of max. consumed power for power restriction
feature ( Power restriction (PR) [700] (page 45)).
15000 W
0 ÷ Nom. power
[291]
Consumed power will be limited to this value, if the choice "From Pmax param." is
selected. In the PF CORRECTOR mode, this parameter represents the limit of reactive
power [VAr].
P gain PR [1048]
Gain value of the power restriction (PR) controllers 1.0000
