Camera Partitions
In the
Video Switch Setup
section, keypad grouping was described as a
method to limit operator control of PTZ functions during specified times.
Camera Partitions enable you to define which cameras will be included in the
groups by creating a partition number. Up to 16 partitions are available. In the
example shown, cameras 1-3 are part of Camera Partition #1. As part of this
partition group, viewing is permitted but pan/tilt/zoom functions are not
allowed. When this camera partition is chosen with a keypad group in the
Timed Events screen, these settings define that the keypads in the group
may view but not control the PTZ functions of cameras 1-3 during the defined
time and date.
To assign cameras to a partition, proceed as follows:
1. In the left column, click on a Camera Partition # and select a partition.
