Handling CompactFlash cards

Make sure that the CompactFlash (CF) is fully inserted into
the card slot.
●
Do not touch or soil the CF connector.
●
The UDMR memory card slot supports CF cards but does
not support Microdrives.
●
CF cards are manufactured using precision electronic
components so observe the following precautions when
handling them.
To prevent damage from static electricity, it is necessary
to discharge the static electricity from your body before
handling the CF card.
Do not touch the CF card connector with your hands or
metal objects.
Do not bend or drop the CF card or subject it to strong
impacts.
Do not leave the CF card in areas exposed to direct
sunlight or in enclosed spaces such as inside vehicles
(storage temperature: -25°C – 85°C).
Do not wet the CF card.
Do not disassemble or modify the CF card.
