Binary playback submodes
Basic operation
Playback:
designate phrases using a combination of 0
(off)/1 (on) signals to terminal nos. 1-8 and no.
9, and input control signal to terminal no. 10
(10START; start).
→
designated phrases are played back.
Stop:
input a control signal into the STP terminal.
→
phrase playback is terminated.
You can also use the binary playback function to select the
following four playback submodes by combining the playback
trigger (level/edge) on/off settings. These submodes can be
configured according to the usage scenario.
Playback submode 1: (Level: off; edge: off)
Binary-designated phrases are played back once only.
Even if a START signal is newly input during playback, it is
voided.
Playback is performed only once even in the case of
continuous START signal input. The '10START' terminal
control signal initiates the phrase playback after detecting the
startup switchover from 'OFF' to 'ON' so make sure that the
10START terminal control signal is turned off after the phrase
playback ends.
Playback submode 2: (Level: on; edge:
off)
Binary-designated phrases are played back repeatedly.
Playback is repeated as long as the START signal input
continues.
Phrase playback can be initiated using the binary designation
during continuous START signal input.
When the control signal to the 10 START terminal is turned off,
playback is terminated once the current phrase ends.
Even if a START signal is newly input during playback, it is
voided.
Playback submode 3: (Level: off; edge: on)
Binary-designated phrases are played back once only.
If a START signal is newly input during phrase playback, the
current phrase playback is suspended and the designated
phrase playback is commenced.
Playback is performed only once even in the case of
continuous START signal input. The '10START' terminal
control signal initiates the phrase playback after detecting the
startup switchover from 'OFF' to 'ON' so make sure that the
10START terminal control signal is turned off after the phrase
playback ends.
