Lighting console backup
The UDMR features an automatic Backup Mode function which automatically switches to the
unit's phrase playback in the event that the DMX signal from an external device is cut off (p.81).
You can also switch to Backup Mode manually by connecting a switch to the '8 CHANGE' control
input terminal located on the right control terminal block.
If a problem occurs with the main lighting controller during time-code synchronization with the
UDMR, the unit instantly switches to Backup Mode so that you can continue the show or stage
performance without any interruption to the lighting choreography.
Backup Mode function
This function automatically switches to UDMR phrase playback in the event that the
external DMX signal is cut off or disordered. You can also set the DMX signal error level
(i.e. switching sensitivity).
