Phrase playback in time with karaoke & BGM tempo
By automatically detecting the tempo of karaoke and background music (BGM), the UDMR can
play back consecutive phrases to match the tempo.
In addition to automatically detecting the tempo (i.e. interval between phrase playbacks) from the
audio signal input, the UDMR can also directly designate the tempo using the Tap Tempo function.
BPM Audio Tempo Playback
With this function you can create pattern phrases combining up to 100 phrases then play
them back sequentially at the tempo automatically detected by the UDMR (p.38).
Playback can be performed either according to a predetermined sequence or in random
order.
Tap Tempo function
This function can be used to automatically detect the tempo by connecting a switch to the
control input terminal's manual BPM tap contact input then gently tapping it (p.38). This is
particularly useful when playing back phrases with a different tempo to the BGM.
