Modifying recorded phrases (phrase settings)

Switching phrases to match the tempo

Let's assume that the following three phrases are recorded.

A001: red lights

A002: blue lights

A003: green lights

A004: fade to black

These four phrases are combined to create a pattern phrase.

By setting the phrase switchover timing of pattern phrase
A005 to 'BPM', it is possible to switch consecutively from
phases A001 to A004.

The switchover timing can be designated in bars (quadruple)
up to 999 bars.

When 'BPM' is designated as the switchover timing, the BPM
indicator light comes on and the configured BPM is displayed
during playback.

A symbol indicating the beat during playback also appears
below the BPM display.

Pattern phrase features



Up to 100 phrases can be registered in a single pattern

phrase.



The phrase playback sequence (pattern phrase mode) can

be randomized.



The time interval until the next phrase playback can be set.



A single phrase can be used within the pattern phrase as

many times as desired.



A separate pattern phrase can be registered within a

pattern phrase.

However, pattern phrases registered with two or more

layers will not play back correctly.

MIDI phrases can also be registered in pattern phrases.



A mixture of DMX phrases and MIDI phrases can be

registered.



Created song phrases (p.42) cannot be registered in

pattern phrases.



All phrase data except the DMX phrase playback speed

(p.36) is disregarded for phrases registered in a pattern
phrase.



Phrases from either memory card A or B can be registered

in pattern phrases. However, please combine the same
memory cards during playback as well. Incorrect
combination of the memory cards will result in incorrect
playback.
