Setting phrases
This section describes how to configure phrases in Backup
Mode so that they play according to the time code.
1. Turn the SELECT dial to select the phrase to be
played back during Backup Mode.
2. Press the MODE button.
The MODE indicator light comes on.

Turn the SELECT dial to '1.7 SYNC SOURCE'
then press the SELECT dial.
4. Using the SELECT dial, set the sync source to
'EXTERNAL'.
Press the SELECT dial once you have finished setting the
sync source.
5. The 'BLACKOUT' screen is displayed.
Turn the SELECT dial to set the blackout function to ON
or OFF.
When the blackout function is set to ON, all DMX
channels are transmitted at 0% if the external sync signal
is interrupted. The phrase is played back when the sync
signal resumes.
When the blackout function is set to OFF, the UDRM
maintains this interrupted state.
Once you have finished setting the sync source, press the
SELECT button.
6. The confirmation screen is displayed. Press the
ENTER button to confirm.
To cancel the setting, turn the SELECT dial to 'CANCEL'
then press the ENTER button.
Once the setting is complete, the display returns to the
settings selection screen.
7. Press the MODE button.
The setting is completed and the display returns to the
default screen.
