Setting the playback speed
Configures the phrase speed.
Use this setting to change the default playback speed from
50% (half) to 200% (double).
This setting can only be applied to DMX phrases. To change
the playback speed of MIDI phrases, refer to the next section
on this page entitled 'Setting the MIDI phrase playback tempo'.
1. Turn the SELECT dial to select the DMX phrase
for which you wish to change the playback
speed.
2. Press the MODE button.
The MODE indicator light comes on.
3. Turn the SELECT dial to '1.4 PLAYBACK SPEED'
then press the SELECT dial.
4. In the playback speed setting screen, turn the
SELECT dial to the desired speed.
Press the SELECT dial once you have finished setting the
speed.
Setting range: 50% - 200%
5. The confirmation screen is displayed. Press the
ENTER button to confirm.
To cancel the setting, turn the SELECT dial to 'CANCEL'
then press the ENTER button.
Once the playback speed setting is complete, the display
returns to the settings selection screen.
6. Press the MODE button.
The setting is completed and the display returns to the
default screen.
Setting the MIDI phrase playback
tempo
This section describes how to configure the MIDI phrase
playback.
This setting can only be applied to MIDI phrases. To change
the playback speed of DMX phrases, refer to the previous
section; 'Setting the playback speed'.
The UDMR adopts a recording tempo of 120 regardless of the
actual MIDI tempo. Selecting a tempo of 120 using the below
setting below plays the phrase back at the same tempo as that
used during recording.
1. Turn the SELECT dial to select the MIDI phrase
for which you wish to change the playback
tempo.
2. Press the MODE button.
The MODE indicator light comes on.
3. Turn the SELECT dial to '1.5 MIDI TEMPO' then
press the SELECT dial.
4. In the tempo setting screen, turn the SELECT
dial to the desired tempo.
Press the SELECT dial once you have finished setting the
tempo.
Setting range: 5 - 260 (BPM)
5. The confirmation screen is displayed. Press the
ENTER button to confirm.
To cancel the setting, turn the SELECT dial to 'CANCEL'
then press the ENTER button.
Once the tempo setting is complete, the display returns to
the settings selection screen.
6. Press the MODE button.
The setting is completed and the display returns to the
default screen.
