Telstra Commander Remote Access Centre

The Telstra Commander Remote Access Centre [TCRAC] has been established to nationally
service Telstra’s new and expanding range of Commander Small Business Telephone Systems.
The leap forward in technology and customer demands have enabled Telstra to radically improve
customer service, processes and reduce business costs to worlds best practice benchmarks.

Established in May 1995 it provides a full range of remote facilities including provisioning, fault
diagnosis and rectification, sales and technical support enhancing customer service. A one point
contact for Customers , Telstra Technicians and Sales staff with queries on product
configuration, administration, programming and fault
 rectification of the Commander NT
and Commander i and i+ Systems, peripherals and integrated application packages
.

This has been accomplished through the establishment of a Customer Helpline, a Technical
Helpline and a Product Development Team to monitor both current and future products.

Apart from being a fault reporting centre the TCRAC offers a range of value added services for
both internal and external customers. It is chartered to clear 70 percent of customer calls at first
point of contact with the centre, effectively reducing site visits and response times while increasing
customer satisfaction and reducing costs.
