Correct Example

The following is an example of a correct wiring configuration:

•

Master station number 1 is located within 10 metres of the star
centre.

•

Each branch longer than 10 metres is terminated with 200 ohms.

•

The number of branches is not more than 9.

•

At least two branches are longer than 10 metres.

•

No branch is over 150 metres in length.

•

The sum of the distance of all branches is:
6 + 40+ 5 + 70 + 70 + 100 + 80 + 20 = 391 metres (less than 400
metres)

•

Two units are connected on a branch (only one unit terminated).

•

There are less than 4 units within 10 metres of the star centre.
