Parameters for flap

A flap procedure must be selected (Fig. 74).

information are described below.

Parameter dialog box Definition
‘Flap thickness [µm]:’ Distance from the bed to the epithelium sur‐
face measured in µm.
‘Diameter [mm]:’ The diameter of the flap is determined by the
cutting circle of the bed and the rim (meas‐
ured in chord length).
Parameter dialog box Definition
‘Energy [µJ]:’ Energy level of each single pulse when cutting
the bed.
‘Spot spacing [µm]:’ Distance from spot to spot on the line.
‘Line spacing [µm]:’ Distance of the spots from line to line.
‘Disable bed cut’ To disable the bed cut, click ‘Disable bed cut’ .
