• Remove the magneto rotor

 with the special tool.

• Remove the magneto rotor key

INSTALLATION

• Remove any grease from the tapered portion 

A

 of the mag-

neto rotor and crankshaft 

B

.

• Fit the magneto rotor key 

1

 to the crankshaft.

• Install the magneto rotor.
• Tighten the magneto rotor nut 

2

 to the specified torque with

the special tool.

Magneto rotor nut: 80 N·m (8.0 kgf-m, 58.0 lbf-ft)
