• Separate the inner tube

 out of the outer tube

Dust seal

DANPER ROD AND COMPRESSION DAMPER UNIT

• Clamp the bottom (flat part) of the sub-tank with a vise.

• Loosen the compression damper unit

 1

.

• Remove the compression damper unit 

1

 from the sub-tank

2

.

NOTE:
Slowly compress the inner rod 

3

 until it stops so that the com-

pression damper unit can be removed easily.

Do not clamp the sub-tank too tight.
