Vocabulary Test
from the System Functions menu.
If the system isn't currently making any other voice announcements, it begins the
vocabulary-test announcement. If the system is currently making a voice
announcement, the firmware waits until it is done to begin the vocabulary-test
announcement.

If you hear nothing or the speech is too garbled to understand, call STC for help in
fixing this problem.

To return to the Setup menu, type

To return to the Main menu, type

To exit the serial interface and return the system to normal operation, type

If this is a double-track site, repeat steps

through

for the other track (that is, for the
other SmartScanIS).
