To set or change the

modem-type

setting:

The Equipment submenu shows the modem type. You should choose Analog when
the system uses the MultiTech ZDX modem supplied by STC. Choose Cellular when
the system uses a modem that communicates over a cellular network.

The modem-type setting toggles between Analog and Cellular. The

on the Equipment submenu changes. The Equipment submenu reappears.

To set or change the

minimum-pulse-width

setting:

The Equipment submenu shows the minimum pulse width required of gating
transducer signals.

Unless a site exhibits transducer miscounts in conjunction with most, if not all, trains
traveling at or below 7 mph (11.3 kph), the minimum transducer pulse width setting
should be 5

mS

. Entering a lower value can result in extra transducer hits. Entering a

value of 0mS disables the filter altogether.
