Setup Data Request:Error
is recorded when a setup data request results in a
checksum failure. Each failure posts a separate message. Therefore, if the
Communications Processor makes five transmissions before succeeding, four error
messages appear in the Event Log, followed by a
Setup Data Request:OK
message
marking the success.
Setup Data Request:OK
is recorded when a setup data request succeeds.
Setup Data Request:Timeout
is recorded when the Communications Processor times
out without receiving a response. Because a timeout cancels the request attempts,
this message appears only once.
Setup Data Transmission:Error
is recorded when a setup data transmission results
in a checksum failure. Each failure posts a separate message. Therefore, if the
Communications Processor makes five transmissions before succeeding, four error
messages appear in the Event Log, followed by a
Setup Data Transmission:OK
message marking the success.
Setup Data Transmission:OK
is recorded when a setup data transmission succeeds.
Setup Data Transmission:Timeout
is recorded when a setup data transmission times
out without receiving an Analyzer Processor response. Each timeout posts a separate
message. Therefore, if the Communications Processor makes five transmissions
before the Analyzer Processor responds, four timeout messages appear in the Event
Log, followed by a
Setup Data Transmission:OK
message marking the success
System Accessed
is recorded each time the user enters the serial interface. This
entry records the serial port used to access the serial interface. For example,
accessing the serial interface through the P10 serial port creates a "System
Accessed[P10]" entry in the Event Log. Valid port designations are P8, P9, and P10.
To delimit any abnormal or error condition, the entry records a designation of P255.
System Exited
is recorded each time the user exits from the serial interface.
System Restart
is recorded each time the system is powered-up or reset.
Train Arrival
is recorded each time a train passes the site. To support transmitting ZA
messages in real-time for systems operating in Poll/Standalone mode, processor-A
(aka Analyzer Processor) alerts processor-B (aka Communications Processor) when a
train enters the site. After processor-B receives and processes the alert, it records this
entry.
Train Stored
is recorded each time the system scans and records a passing train and
each time the system generates a gate-test train. In other words, every train gets this
entry recorded.
Talker Mode:Error-NAK occurred
is recorded, for systems operating in
Poll/Standalone mode, when at least five consecutive ZA or ZU polling system
messages were sent to the Harriman Dispatch Center without being acknowledged.
This entry appears each time the talker-mode setting automatically changes due to an
unacknowledged ZA or ZU message transmission. If the talker-mode setting is
talk-on-defect, it changes to talk-freely. If the setting is already talk-freely, it stays
talk-freely.
