OPERATION
c.) Set Line Freq: To set the line frequency of the Master Time Programmer for time
keeping purposes, press the
‘3’
(Set Line Freq) key from the Set Defaults Menu. The
display now prompts the operator to press
‘1’
for 50 HZ or
‘2’
for 60 HZ. Pressing
the
‘1’
or
‘2’
key will change the data in the brackets <>. After the line frequency
is entered, press the
‘Enter’
key.
NOTE: The Time Base option must be set to LINE
before this option is available.
d.) Set Daylight Savings: To enable or disable the automatic daylight savings feature,
press the
‘4’
(Daylight Savings) key from the Set Defaults Menu. The display now
prompts the operator to press
‘1’
to enable or
‘2’
to disable daylight savings.
Pressing the
‘1’
or
‘2’
key will change the data in the brackets <>. After daylight
savings is entered, press the
‘Enter’
key.
NOTE:
When the Daylight Savings Time feature is enabled, the change from
standard time to Daylight Savings Time actually occurs at 2:03 AM. The
change from Daylight Savings Time to standard time occurs at 2:01 AM.
e.) All Call Feature: To enable or disable the operation of All Call for each signal
circuit, press the
‘5’
(All Call) key from the Set Defaults Menu. The display now
prompts the operator to press the
‘1’
to
‘9’
and/or
‘A’
to
‘D’
keys to toggle the All Call
feature on or off for each circuit. Pressing the
‘1’
to
‘9’
and/or
‘A’
to
‘D’
keys will
change the data on the second line of the display. After All Call signal circuits are
entered, press the
'Enter'
key.
f.) Serial Port: To enable or disable the serial port (1468A RS-232 Port Option), press
the
‘6’
(Serial Port) key from the Set Defaults Menu. The display now prompts the
operator to press the
‘1’
or
‘2’
key to enable or disable the serial port. Pressing the
‘1’
or
‘2’
key will change the data in the brackets <>. After enable or disable is
entered, press the
‘Enter’
key.
After enabling the serial port, the operator will be prompted to set the baud rate.
Press
‘1’
for 1200 baud,
‘2’
for 2400 baud,
‘3’
for 9600 baud or
‘4’
for 19200 baud.
Pressing the
‘1’
,
‘2’
,
‘3’
, or
‘4’
key will change the data in the brackets <>. After the
baud rate is entered, press the
‘Enter’
key.
