OPERATION
c.) Automatic
The “AUTOMATIC” function allows the signal circuit to be used for programmed
events. While a signal circuit is in automatic condition, it operates in accordance
to the currently running schedule of programmed events. If in "AUTOMATIC"
condition, the signal circuit will remain in "AUTOMATIC" condition until the user
changes it to “MANUAL ON” or “MANUAL OFF” status.
Pressing the
‘7’
key may or may not result in the display prompting for an access
code. If not, or once a correct access code is entered, the display prompts the
user to select the signal circuit to be returned to automatic condition. The user
must press the keys corresponding to the signal circuits the user wishes to
return to automatic condition, and then press
‘Enter’
.
Prompt to User to Enter the Signal Circuits to be Returned to “Automatic” Operation
2.) All Call
The
‘STEADY ALL CALL’
, and
‘MTB ALL CALL’
Function Keys are two
variations of the same function. The
‘STEADY ALL CALL’
Function Key activates
(steady on) all signal circuits programmed as “All Call” signal circuits. The
‘MTB
ALL CALL’
Function Key pulses all signal circuits programmed as “All Call” signal
circuits. The pulse rate is on and off once a second. Unlike the virtual switch
positions, All Call is cancelled when AC power is lost.
Message to Operator that All Call is in Use
a.) Steady All Call
Pressing the
‘B’
key may or may not result in the display prompting for an
access code. If not, or once a correct access code is entered, all signal circuits
programmed as “All Call” signal circuits activate and the display informs the
operator that All Call is in use.
To cancel Steady All Call operation, press the
‘B’
key again, and if necessary,
enter a correct access code.
b.) MTB All Call
Pressing the
‘C’
key may or may not result in the display prompting for an
access code. If not, or once a correct access code is entered, all signal circuits
programmed as “All Call” signal circuits begin to pulse and the display informs
the operator that All Call is in use.
To cancel MTB All Call operation, press the
‘C’
key again, and if necessary,
enter a correct access code.
