OPERATION

III.) Programming the Master Time Programmer

All operator programming is done with the aid of the keypad and LCD display. Pressing the

‘

MENU’

key while the display is showing the time and date will start the programming

process. There are three levels of access for programming. The operator will be asked for
an access code. After the correct access code is entered, the Main Menu is displayed.
NOTE: Access codes are provided on the code card furnished with this manual.

A.) Level 1 Programming: To access Level 1 programming features, when prompted for

the access code, use the

‘0’

to

‘9’

keys to enter the code for Level 1 and press the

‘Enter’

key. If the code was entered properly, the display will show the Main Menu. There is only
one choice for Level 1: 1=Set Schedule.

Set Schedule: The 1460/61 will run a main schedule, or when necessary, an alternate
schedule. After pressing

‘1’

from the Main Menu, the Schedule Menu is displayed. There

are two choices in this menu: 1=Main Schedule, and 2=Alternate Schedule. The main
schedule is the programmed schedule that is used on a day to day basis. An alternate
schedule will only run on the day (until 12:00AM) it is programmed in.

1.) Set Main Schedule: To set the main schedule, press the

‘1’

(Main Schedule) key. The

display now prompts the operator to enter # of the schedule that you want to assign as
the main schedule. The current main schedule is shown between < >. Use the number
keys to enter a number from 0 to 255. After the new schedule number is typed in, press
the

‘Enter’

key to accept the new schedule. This new main schedule will be active until

it is changed through the keypad.

2.) Set Alternate Schedule: To set an alternate schedule, press the

‘2’

(Alternate

Schedule) key. The display now prompts the operator to enter the # of the schedule that
you want to act as the alternate schedule. The current schedule is shown between
< >. Use the number keys to enter a number from 0 to 255. After the new schedule
number is typed in, press the

‘Enter’

key to accept the new schedule. From now until

12:00 AM, the signal circuits of the Master Time Programmer will be controlled from the
alternate schedule.
