USE "0" & "A" IF MASTER
OR "C-" & "C+" IF SLAVE

For Addition of 1466 Master to Master Synchronization Module

Into 1462, TC1262 or 1463 Program Time Controller

Ensure that all necessary parts for the 1466 module are included in package. Check items
against the following parts list.

Installation instructions

CAUTION:

Remove all power before proceeding with installation. To guarantee protection for the circuitry
of this unit, it is required that electrostatic handling precautions be observed when installing or
repairing equipment.

Slave Installation

1)

Insert relay with contacts to the left as shown in figure below.

2)

Install both jumpers J1 and J2 in position 1.

3)

Connect external 12 volt supply plus to master's "A" terminal.

4)

Connect wire from master's "O" terminal to slave's "C+".

5)

Connect external 12 volt supply minus to slave's "C-" terminal.

6)

See programming instructions for set up of master to master synchronization located in
"Set Defaults" section of the 1462/63 or TC1262 instruction manual.

Master Installation

1)

Insert relay with contacts to the left as shown in figure below.

2)

Install both jumpers J1 and J2 in position 2.

3)

Connect external 12 volt supply plus to master's "A" terminal.

4)

Connect wire from master's "O" terminal to slave's "C+".

5)

Connect external 12 volt supply minus to slave's "C-" terminal.

6)

See programming instructions for set up of master to master synchronization located in
"Set Defaults" section of the 1462/63 or TC1262 instruction manual.
