Main Menu
8=Set Defaults

8.) Set Defaults: The Set Defaults Menu allows for altering the basic operation of the

Master Time Programmer. After pressing

‘8’

from the Main Menu, the Set Defaults Menu

is displayed. There are ten choices in this menu: 1=Set Time Base, 2=Set Time Format,
3=Set Line Freq, 4=Daylight Save, 5=All Call, 6=Serial Port, 7=WWV, 8=Mast to Mast,
9=Prog Clocks, A=Function Keys, and D=Clear Memory.

a.) Set Time Base: To set the time base of the Master Time Programmer, press the

‘1’

(Set Time Base) key from the Set Defaults Menu. The display now prompts the
operator to press

‘1’

for line frequency or

‘2’

for the oscillator. Pressing the

‘1’

‘2’

key will change the data in the brackets <>. After the time base is entered, press

the

‘Enter’

key.

b.) Time Format: To set the time format of the Master Time Programmer , press the

‘2’

(Set Time Format) key from the Set Defaults Menu. The display now prompts the

operator to press

‘1’

for 12 Hour or

‘2’

for 24 Hour format. Pressing the

‘1’

‘2’

key will change the data in the brackets <>. After the time format is entered, press
the

‘Enter’

key.
